The Garden

Somewhere, floating above the universe like a cloud, lies a realm people can visit when they are asleep. Anything you imagine can be there; one might think it a dream, but the whole of your mind is transported to this place, and you venture like you were awake. Time drifts aimlessly in this place, and it can nurture, or be a source of deep comfort for it's visitor. most memories will fade when they return, but they would at least wake with a smile on their face as they start another day on their own world.One day, there was a strange visitor. While it is not uncommon to meet a broken soul in this realm, I guess she was still rather peculiar. Perhaps with how fascinated she is with this world or peculiar sense of belonging she'd never felt before. Once she realizes she will forget about visiting here soon, her heart felt more crushed than it already was.She managed to return; we will never know for certain how she did so. She said upon waking up, she still kept the memory of being here, of being happy again. She was adamant finding a way to visit once more. She felt safe here. But this is not how this realm works, soon she will need to wake. If this was just some random coincidence, she needs to accept it, she may never be able to return here... or at least anytime soon.Lo and behold, she managed to return. It became almost everyday that our broken visitor had dropped by. The creatures here don’t really mind of course, they do enjoy being around her. Unfortunately time still ticks in this temporary solace, and she always fades back to where she originated.While she was exploring she noticed a barren land. All other areas in this world are so full of magic and wonder; something blank definitely sticks out. She decided stopping by there to just sit. It didn’t have much, but it did provided peace. She made sure to drop by there whenever she can. I guess she just empathized with the abandoned place.Day by day I’ve sensed hopelessness in her eyes. To know that time will always inevitably take her away from this place that makes her happy; I fear what it means if she can't accept her presence here is temporary...She was ready to forget everything but she wanted to at least visit the barren land once more. She sat for awhile and the moment she felt she is slowly fading again, she took a piece of her heart and offered it to the soil. At least you won’t feel alone, she said.The ground started lighting up. Blooming from the piece of heart, a magical glow branches around the soil. Soon tiny sprouts began to pop out. A once barren land had blossomed with grass and flora. A small spring-fed lake bubbled up, and the once barren place became full of life.Where the heart is planted, a giant tree appeared and a tiny cottage emerged under it.Soon creatures took notice of the newly blossomed land and started hanging out there. New visitors also make sure to drop by and help out maintaining the beautiful nature on it.As for our broken visitor. As she offered a part of her heart to the land, she became part of it, part of our world.While she realizes that she needs to still return to her own world, she is at least happy she could freely have another place as her sanctuary. Often times she finds herself here at peace while tending to the flowers. She also invite visitors to hang out in her little place in this world, where each and everyone can grow together.
Lo and behold, her body starts to shift.
On her stay in this world, she's seen multiple of herself, different forms and personality, but it is still her.The forms can shift and exist together. Pichuu learns them as she explore more about herself.
Ch1. The Reliable Machine

Once there was a magical cat named Pichuu.
She would spend much time preparing all manner of potions and tonics with the herbs and spices in her garden.
It was hard work cutting and grinding all the various plants and mushrooms by hand, especially with the upcoming solstice celebration fast approaching.As she was worrying about how she could possibly handle such an immense workload with the deadline for the event growing ever closer, Pichuu heard a knock on her front door and found a blender sitting on her doorstep.
She took the blender inside, unsure as to who delivered it but found that it greatly improved the speed at which she could mince and blend herbs...but would it be enough?While the blender was a great gift, it would regularly get jammed and she had to clean it after every use, so while it became easier to make the potions, it felt as if she spent just as much time getting the blender to work as she did on preparing everything the traditional way.Her anxiety getting the best of her, she decided to use a spell that would allow her to fuse with the blender temporarily so that her magic could empower the blender into turbo mode!The spell worked great and she was able to blast through her entire workload with ease, finishing with plenty of time to spare!
After a short break, Pichuu cast the spell to undo her fusion to get ready for the celebration, but after shouting the incantation she was dismayed to find that nothing happened.There was no swirling of lights, no whirling of wind, nothing happened at all aside from her blender blades spinning.
Pichuu tried again and again throughout the night to undo the spell and separate from the blender, but to no avail.The day of the celebration, rumors began to spread of an angry buzzing sound coming from Pichuu's cottage, the villagers unaware that their local witch had trapped herself in the form of a blender and was now blending up a storm.
Ch2. What Do You Mean There's a Step 2?

After several months of life stuck as a sentient blending machine, Pichuu had exhausted all of her personal avenues for solutions to turn her back to normal and decided to reach out to her fellow magical compatriots belonging to all walks of life.
From Witches, to Wizards, to Warlocks, to Sorcerers, Pichuu reached out to all of her friends from distant lands for any help they may have been able to lend, and the response was monumental...literally.
Thousands of letters, ingredients, potions, scrolls, and even some personal spellbooks came pouring in faster than she could handle, quickly overburdening her mailbox and her poor courier.Eager to get to normal again, Pichuu quickly began going through all the mail, skimming over many details as she hastily scried for a cure.
After a short while, she found a recipe in someone's spellbook that seemed to have a fix for her exact problem, only it was written in some muddled form of draconic with atrocious handwritting.
Her excitement pushing her forward, she tried to follow the instructions step by step, progressing along the process of crafting the potion as she read.
Her eagerness would prove to be her folly however, as she was too hasty to test the potion on anything else first and simultaneously misread several steps along the way.As she allowed the "finished" potion to seep into her container, she began to glow and feel tingly all over.
The sides of her plastic frame began to push and stretch outward and her height began to elevate as she began to change back from being a blender, and her elation was palpable.
She giggled as she grew fingers and toes again, wiggling them with glee, and couldn't help but shake her forming head about to enjoy the sensation of having ears again.
However, her celebration was cut short when she realized that she suddenly stopped glowing and the tingly sensation went away.Looking down at herself, her torso was still a blender and her face still felt synthetic, although she did at least have paws to feel with again.
Looking into a mirror, it quickly became clear to her that she must have messed up the potion along the way as it only half transformed her, her features largely remaining artificial and even the fur along her new arms and legs felt faux.Looking around, she was also dismayed to find that during her transformation, she had accidentally wrecked the place, including the spellbook that had her cure written in it, the page that she needed being crumpled up, torn, and saturated with some spilled potion underneath her feet, having apparently been underfoot when she was enjoying her growing appendages.The pages were now completely illegible and her ingredient supply exhausted, she knew that now she would be stuck like this for at least another few months just to replenish her stock of ingredients to even consider trying again, but at least now she had hands and legs again.

She loathes everything.
Her scars, her skin
She just dread so deeply.Her reflection distorts;
Her silhouette grew sore.
Tears fall down her eyes.
Wish she loved herself more.She clawed herself.
Ripped, shredded
Sliced, tore.Once miserable form,
Now multiple pieces
Scattered all around
Just remnants.Yet, it’s still her.While being in strips,
it’s still her.
With the abstracture of it all,
It’s still her.Resting on the wooden floor,
the pieces of shreds started to glow.
While laying cold,
a bit of warmth slowly brew.Each pieces were puzzles,
each with stories to tell.
Her memories, passions,
all printed in these shreds.It’s all a mess,
but it’s her.
Maybe it’s a beautiful mess.The room became brighter,
Strips filling the broken space.
Likes patches sewn together
It felt like an embrace.She reverted back,
While seams became like scars.
She smile, “however shape or form,
I’ll wear them like stars.”Like a tiger with her stripes.

Residents of Driim
The residents are creatures that exist in this world. Some have bigger roles to fill, while some are just silly beans.
These are my OCs in Neopets, I wanted them to be accessible outside of the site.
Guardians of Driim: Chesh
They/Them
They say when you count sheeps, you slowly fall asleep. Most theorized that it is because the word "sheep" is similar to "sleep"; that you are subconsciously telling yourself to doze off. Little do you know, you are chanting the creature's name to bring you to another realm.
Chesh was one of the first creatures that appeared when Driim was created, because of that, it became their role to protect the realm and also allow visitors to come by.

Random Luck OR Chaos

While Driim is already an abstract realm by itself, the siblings exist in this world to make it more catastrophic.Qrim holds the Dice of Randomness, while Chiiz creates the temporal reality bound to reveal by the dice. Most of the time they are harmless tho!They are close with Pawki whom they found in a forest as a kitten.

The Neverending Story of Light and Darkness

There will always be a neverending war between light and darkness. These two entities just tend to clash with each other. When one wins, she is able to rule this realm for period of time; the fallen however perished to be reincarnated again.During the last war, while the Creature of Light has fallen, Kesza was deeply weakened that she resorted to retreat to her shelter, wherever it may be. Thus the current era is in neutrality(Who can say is if it's a good thing or not).
Creature of Light was not defeated in the arms of the dark; but rather, she used up all of powers enough to weaken Kezsa but also ending up disappearing in the realm.
Heroes await for her return to finish the battle between the dark. But on the mountain where she is said to reborn, the heroes were confused as to why only an egg appeared on the mountain.Koko, while in the care of the heroes, have no recollection of her memory, of the story of the light vs. dark. But while she exist in this miniscule figure, her power still emanates as magical things happen in her presence.

They just call him Fish because he swims.
Little is known about Fish aside from his claims that he came from another world. He spends most of the time sleeping, as he refers to it as: "to swim among the unseen forces in this world". He communicates with the stars for guidance on what the future holds.The stars in his world are the flowers in Driim. While he is unsure why that is the case, he is able to talk to the flowers in the garden. Because of that, they enjoy hanging out with Thyme when they are caring for the garden.

There was once a ruler who had a sickly child, during the war . He was afraid of any harm that might happen to his son that he askes the faes to keep him safe and healthy. Little did the king know that his son was blessed(or cursed) with immortality by the said fae. When everyone charged to the war and disappeared, the little prince was left alone , until he is the last one in his kingdom.While everything in the castle deteriorates in age, while exploring, he noticed an area with floras that never dies.
He became the keeper of this greenhouse that is forever in constant; where the weather is always pleasant and plants are growing delightfully. The garden is surrounded in magic were it is unaffected with the chaos from the world, it is a safe haven for any travellers.Despite his young demeanor, Thyme is rather knowledgeable in botany and his favorite hobbies is studying about herbs and how to propagate them more.

We all know Palette as this pink cat who loves to explore with Pichuu, but do you know about "Prepawsterous"?Some times Palette turns to this mad artist when he is a little passionate. But he doesn't know what chaos this artist might bring to the world is he is unleashed. Thankfully Chesh makes sure to keep him in order.

Unfortunately he is also cursed with his father's temper. People deemed him dangerous for having a blood of a fire demon, as his father was notorious demon that destroys villages in this world.He wants none of that, he just wants to live in peace with his fae kind.So how does he solve that? He's been learning to weave and craft things with his paws. Helps keep his temper afloat. Tho one slip with just cause him to destroy what he made. :(

She isolated herself away from the forest, and now inhibits a cave in a desserted land.While not being born with magic, she is skilled with making potions and brews. Her lack of flight doesn't hinder her from exploring new areas to search of magical items for her recipes.

Orphan dragonborn left in the woods by her former cultists parents. Ky ended up growing up with a cult book that was left with her when her parents disappeared that she shouldn't not be reading.Once she found a mysterious mushroom that brought her into a fantasy land, and she decided that she wants to live in that magical place.While she loves everything magical and fae, she mostly solves her problems with brute force and violence.She has a pet bear named Tinker.She bond with Sol over natural materials. Growing up in the woods all her life, she is knowledgeable with materials the forest has to offer, allowing her to craft her fantasy attire. She is also fond of natural dyes, she experiment with berries(and blood sometimes) to get the perfect pink pigment out of nature.

The Visitors

With the creation of the garden, it is now easier to access this world. Visitors from other realm is able to hang out in the garden to relax or assist in growing floras.Without Pichuu's presence in the garden, the portal from this realm to another also disappears.Since everyone enters thru the garden, visitors' form tend the shift a bit, usually with a nature motif/element in their physique.
